"As for the 2009s, the 2009 Chardonnay Savoy may turn out to be one of the finest Chardonnays Eric Sussman has yet made. Copious aromas of pear and crushed rock intermixed with hints of tropical fruits and oranges jump from the glass of this honeyed, medium to full-bodied, zesty, mineral-laced Chardonnay made largely from an old Wente clone. It should drink nicely for 4-5 years. (92-94)."
