"Nice, smooth easy drinking medium bodied wine great for grilling. Firmer tanins than the Frontier Red, with somewhat less rich mouthfeel and less smokeness. Strong fruit. In some ways, the Frontier seemed sort of heavy-handed to me in comparison... and perhaps the Vernede is more complex. For 6.99, or even for regular price of 8.99 this was a good bottle."
