"Chalkers Crossing riesling spends six months on lees and would probably rate as the Hilltops region’s top riesling – not having thought on the matter a great deal.
A very pretty riesling. Oodles of floral, talc-like fragrance – displayed too on the palate. There are apple and pear flavours too and it’s both juicy and textural at once. It’s not a brilliant wine but it is very, very enjoyable.
