90 points "90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar - Bright yellow-gold. Aromas of fresh pineapple, nectarine and honey, with a subtle mineral overtone. Juicy and palate-coating, offering subtly sweet pit and orchard fruit flavors that show good depth and distinct ripeness. Closes with very good breadth and cling, leaving a pit fruit nectar note behind. (5/ 2012)" Best 2013-2017

91 points "Bright yellow-gold. Ripe pear and peach aromas are complicated by anise, buttered toast and iodine. Concentrated and lively, offering intense orchard fruit flavors and a refreshingly bitter citrus pith nuance that gains strength with air. Shows real energy on the impressively persistent finish, which leaves smoky mineral and ginger notes behind." Best 2014-2016

95 points "95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Named after Stephen Hansel’s mother, the 2012 Chardonnay Cuvee Alyce receives the same oak treatment, but is a selection from a field blend of Hyde, Old Wente and 95 clonal material. Yields were modest due to tiny berries and clusters. A stunning perfume of white currants, quince, peach marmalade and mango is followed by a full-bodied, multi-dimensional, ripe, well-delineated Chardonnay with good acidity, subtle oak and a long, 35-second finish. Drink this beauty over the next 7-8 years. Combining quality with reasonable prices and estate-grown grapes, you can’t do much better than Stephen Hansel’s Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. (RP) (12/ 2013)" Best 2015-2020
