"Glass-staining ruby. A complex, fragrant bouquet evokes red berries, gingerbread and potpourri. Fine-grained and very precise on the palate, offering subtly sweet strawberry and raspberry flavors and slow-building spice and rose pastille qualities. Zesty minerality adds cut and focus to the very long, juicy, floral-dominated finish. This carries 15.1% alcohol but there's no way I'd have guessed that."

"Fragrant wilted rose and black cherry scents are complex, vibrant, elegant and deeply perfumed in this medium-bodied red, with touches of rich wild berry and raspberry. Ends with a delicate, minerally aftertaste that lingers with snappy berry notes. Drink now through 2017. 530 cases made. –JL"

"92-94pts. The 2009 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse reveals more earth, sassafras, autumnal/vegetative characteristics intertwined with broad raspberry and cherry flavors as well as hints of cloves and spice. While it does not possesses the textural intensity of Le Caprice, it is a stunning Pinot that should be fascinating to taste when released and last for 8-10 years.
