"As good as the Puligny villages is, the Folatières is a huge step up in quality as it quite simply outclasses the junior appellation. Classy, refined and pure green apple and white flower fruit perfume combine with intense, punchy, chiseled and delineated flavors that seem cut from liquid rock. There is superb finish balance and while this isn't necessarily the best wine to this point, I very much admire the near perfect acid/fruit balance. In short, this is classic Puligny and highly recommended."
