" Cloverdale Ranch is situated on fifty-five acres of deep, gravelly soil in the northern Alexander Valley. Devoted primarily to the production of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the Estate extends from the base of the Mayacamas Mountains to the east bank of Russian River. A small section of old-growth Carignane remains that dates back some fifty years. Their Cabernet is balanced, elegant but with plenty of big, strapping black and red fruit. An all-around winner."
