"Matured for 9 months in French oak. Bright pale straw colour with faint greenish tinge and watery hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with lifted scents of nectarine, cashew, citrus and some light smoky flint like notes. Medium weight the palate is dominated by nectarine and citrus flavours showing good mouthfeel and an elegant flavour profile with some cashew and flinty match stick notes in the background. Clean dry finish. Medium to long nectarine, cashew and flinty match stick aftertaste."

"Barrel fermented with wild yeast in French oak, 34% new, and matured for 10 months in oak, the 2010 Chardonnay offers a youthfully closed nose of fresh peaches and cream, cedar, lightly toasted bread and apple tart. Medium bodied and packed with nervy flavor intensity in the mouth, it has crisp acidity and a silken texture, finishing long with lingering honeyed toast notes. Still very tight, consider drinking it 2012 to 2016+."
