" The grapes for this 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested from select vineyards throughout the prestigious North Coast growing region, primarily Napa, Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma counties. From the already heralded 2001 vintage, this deep red exhibits aromas of blackberry and currant with touches of bittersweet chocolate and toast. Flavors include berries, more currants, plums and cedar. Ample, round soft tannins make this a crowd-pleaser as in vintages past. If you loved the 2000, you are in for a special treat with this one. Try with grilled red meat or pizza."
