" The grapes for the 2001 Dynamite Merlot were harvested from select vineayrds throughout the North Coast growing region, primarily Mendocino, Sonoma and Napa counties. The 2001 vintage was outstanding for Merlot. Fermented in small batches, this Merlot has forward aromas of ripe cherry, currant and plum with a wisp of smoke. A plush mouthfeel with soft tannins leads to a long, full finish."
