"Color: evolved; Nose: intense; Aromas: dried fruit; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: sweet; Body: alcoholic; Finish: persistent; Overall: elegant; Very mature brick color. Great viscosity shows through wonderful legs. Heady, alcoholic nose. On the palate it was luscious and rich with hints of figs and dates and this continued on to a long finish."

"My 1st aged vintage port (27yrs). Very nice, like an austere, refined, and complex LBV port. Ruby color w/ light edges. Austere nose, smooth and complex palate with background of light fruit. Cork was a task to get out, cork wet most of the way through. poured through a funnel, into decanter. 1/2 bottle drank over 2 days. 2nd 1/2 poured into empty 375ml bottle and will consume next week."
