"Full and frank, with crackerjack licorice and VA on a nose thick with barely controlled aggression. The palate only turns the mood higher – though for a wine of such levered bulk, there’s a lot of lifted, violet-flavoured style. It’s drinkable. It’s enviable. It’s deep, plummy, sweet, vanillin, coffeed, complex and cellarable.
