"The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate boasts a dense ruby/purple color in addition to aromas of smoke, black currants, cigar tobacco, and incense. This powerfully constructed, layered Cabernet builds incrementally on the palate displaying terrific ripeness, huge tannins, and plenty of mass and structure. Forget it for 2-3 years, and drink it over the following 12-15, although I suspect it may last for two decades."

"The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses an opaque inky/purple color, and a gorgeous nose of graphite, creme de cassis, cedar, and new oak. When I smelled and tasted this majestic wine, it reminded me of the 2006 Mouton Rothschild. As strange as that might sound, there is more to that comparison than one might suspect. This rich, intense effort displays Cabernet Sauvignon’s potential when planted on the west side of Paso Robles. This gorgeous Cabernet can compete with the finest Napa Valley cult wines, but it requires 3-4 years of cellaring. It should keep for 2-3 decades. Bravo! "

"Color: deep; Nose: complex; Aromas: dried fruit; Acidity: lively; Sweetness: dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: very persistent; Overall: elegant; This wine fly in the face that Paso only produces great Rhone style wines. This is a superb wine for any region, with an hour of decanting we all truly enjoy a well crafted bottle that enhanced the entire meal"
