" Thought Kathryn Kennedy only made red wines? Well, you were right, the operative being 'were'! 2003 is the first vintage for this Sauvignon Blanc, and as you would expect from such a quality driven estate, this is a wine that transcends the California fume style toward something more refined, more exciting. This one's bright and jazzy with precise flavors leaning toward citrus, grass and white peaches. Two cool-climate vineyards were combined, one from the Central Coast and one from Sonoma. Fermentation was carried out in a few neutral French oak barrels and some stainless steel, and that combination was selected for the 6 months of aging as well. Just 100 cases released!"
