"It is an outstanding wine. The nose is a powerful infusion of spicy pepper, ripe blackberry and dark chocolate aromas, layer over charry French oak. The palate is powerful and firmly structured with lashings of pepper, ripe red berry and oak characters. It's richly textured and finishes dry with good tannins and a firm astringency. Serve with pork, veal or matured cheeses, today if you must, but preferably after extended cellaring."
