"This is great, old school style Bordeaux. Extremely complex earthy aromas and flavors of fresh herbs, smoke, leather, mushroom and a hint of cedar. The palate is rich with a hint of dry tannins, but good cherry, strawberry, currants and red plum flavors to balance everything out. A hint of smoke on the finish caps off this excellent gem from an underrated vintage. Second label of Latour Martillac."
