" Grapes for this 100% varietal wine were picked at the peak of ripeness, destemmed and fermented in small batches with twice-daily pumpovers to ensure the fullest extraction of Zinfandel flavors. Selected lots were combined at the end of the 2002 harvest season to create this blend, which was aged on neutral European oak for an average of nine months before being bottled in September of 2003. Always a great value, and perfect for the start of BBQ season!"
