Tasting Notes:
rated: June 7, 2004 , K&L Wine Merchants
" It's no secret the Ponzis have been making tremendously good pinot noir in the Willamette Valley. They were among the first grape growers who saw the potential of the area for pinot and other coldish climate grapes. Their 2001 Willamette Pinot carries on the tradition, offering rich aromas of cherries, pepper and cinnamon. Full and broad in the mouth, with dark cherries and thick mid-palate sweetness. Pure as the weekday is long!"
