"A poor man's Monte Bello, this cabernet sauvignon blend (with 26% merlot and 8% petit verdot) is full-bodied and intense with soft and round tannins thanks to the additional time in wood. Generous currant/cassis aromas, with barrel tones of licorice, molasses and roasted coffee. Layered fruit set off by juniper, bay, light tobacco along with blackberry, licorice, leather/cedar and integrated oak on the palate. Enjoyable now, it will continue to develop over the next ten years."
