" Richard Sauret’s vineyard is located on a steep hillside in the Santa Lucia Mountains, two miles west of Highway 101. Its elevation is the highest within the Paso Robles viticultural area. The vines are 36 years old, head-pruned and yield on average three tons per acre. The climate during the growing season is generally hot, but occasional maritime influences bring cool air into the area. These conditions create one of the most exciting Zinfandels coming from Paso Robles. Balanced and elegant and not too hot or BIG for the table."
