" It used to be common practice for winemakers in California and abroad to combine more than one vintage into a single cuvee, blending juice irregardless of harvest date with only the best possible end result in mind. This Vintners Cuvee XXV marks the 25th release of Rosenblum's favorite non-vintage Zinfandel, and once again, the wine is fantastic. If you must know the particulars, it is 60% 2002 zin mixed with 40% 2001 fruit from a combination of vineyards in the San Francisco Bay (60%), Oakley (20%) and Paso Robles (20%) appellations. This is fruit forward with tons of fresh berries on the nose and palate and precious little tannin or acidity. 89 points Robert Parker (07/03)."
