" Last used for grape production two decades ago, this vineyard fell into neglect and has largely been used as a horse paddock (do yourself a favor and attempt to rid your mind of any olfactory allusions here). Vine pruning occurred sporadically, whenever the horses snacked on the fruit. And what happy horses these were! That is until recently when they were dismissed from the site. This vineyard is once again producing incredibly rich, powerful wine from exceptionally low-yielded grenache, had-picked late in the vintage."
