Tasting Notes:
rated: September 12, 2006 , K&L Wine Merchants
"This one's a bouncy, bubbly, extremely likeable wine! Dark plum with bright purple hue. The nose shows dark licorice with a meld of plum and blackberry with hints of chocolate and spice. The mouthfeel is dense and coating, with oodles of juicy rich fruit. Luscious mocha and dark berry fruit compete for attention, leaving you with a wine that is evidently drinkable now."

90 points "Lithe and focused, with a surprising but appealing root beer note weaving through the blackberry and licorice flavors, which linger gently against firm tannins and tangy acidity on the finish. Has impeccable balance. Drink now through 2011. 4,334 cases imported. –HS" Best 2006-2011

92 points "From McLaren Vale, the 2005 Shiraz Angel’s Share (the only Two Hands cuvee aged completely in American wood) is a wine of considerable intensity. Its inky/purple color is accompanied by scents of graphite, smoky oak, black currants, chocolate, and cedar. This fabulously rich, full-bodied, voluptuously-styled red should drink well for a decade." Best 2006-2016
