"had 3 bottles of the 98. One was too old and went down the drain, one was too young, but the last was perfect! Almost restores my faith in this label. It was truly outstanding, and was served with a slow cooked leg of lamb - perfect match!"

"Medium red-purple; a classic bouquet reflecting more or less equally the climate/terroir of Coonawarra and the character of cabernet sauvignon as it manifests itself in Coonawarra, the aromas a mix of berry, briar, earth in a savoury spectrum. The palate is perfectly weighted and structured, the wine polished yet substantial; particularly sweet tannins on the finish give the wine special character.
