Tasting Notes:
tasted: November 27, 2009 , Robert McDonald
4 stars "Color: deep; Nose: fragrant; Aromas: herbal; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: medium dry; Body: firm; Finish: persistent; Overall: elegant; "
rated: October 12, 2004 , K&L Wine Merchants klwines.com
" Gerard Seguin's wines are old-style, in that they have a bit higher acidity than some of the more forward Burgundies. But, they have the clean, focused, bright fruit that is the hallmark of more modern winemaking. His Chambolle is very true to type, with little red fruit notes, charm and elegance. The bright, focused cherry fruit is matched by the long finish. Deliightful, and at a very good price. (Keith Wollenberg, K&L Burgundy Buyer)"
