Tasting Notes:

3 stars "Color: deep; Nose: intense; Aromas: spicy; Acidity: crisp; Sweetness: medium dry; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: rich; Complex, fruited experience. Tannins, but balanced structure. Easy finish. Lots of fun, this would be a good wine to leave open all night and come back to over and over, see how it changes as it decants."

89 points "Color: dark; Nose: fragrant; Aromas: tropical fruit, black berry; Sweetness: dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: rich; Full with that tropical fruit ripeness that comes from the Viognier, coupled with a good Shiraz that has body and power. I personally feel that the Viognier distracts somewhat from the core strengths of the Shiraz, but this is one of the best such blends around."

"It could use a few years in the bottle. We drank a glass, then decanted and drank another, then left it sitting in the decanter and drank it the next day--and it still could have sat for a while longer."
