91 points "Subtle at first, with toast and candied-pear notes, this slowly yields layers of apple, fig, honeysuckle and minerals, all carried by a long, juicy finish. This really opens up in the glass but stays remarkably elegant. Drink now. 8,752 cases made. (JM)" Best 2005-

4 stars "Color: pale; Aromas: woody, tree fruit; Sweetness: medium dry; Finish: persistent; Pale yellow in color with a fruity vanilla aroma, not a hit of oak during the first taste. However, after tasting all the wines we both noticed a slight hint of oak once we came back to it. It was very crisp and fairly dry; I thought it was slightly acidic and salty. It was full bodied and stayed on the tongue as the flavor lingered. "
