"A blend of 70% Shiraz and 30% Grenache, the 2004 Brave Faces is a fruit-forward, exuberant offering that Michael Twelftree describes as “one of the whores in my line-up.” A luscious red revealing abundant amounts of cherries, raspberries, and currants intermixed with notions of licorice and spice, it is about as seductive as a Syrah/Grenache blend can be. Since only 20% new oak was used, the fruit is its dominant characteristic. Drink it over the next 3-4 years."

"Lithe, polished and juicy, with cherry, dried blueberry and licorice flavors. The fruit persists impressively on the toasty finish. Appealing for its open texture and its length. Drink now through 2011. 1,029 cases imported. –HS"
