"88-91 points: 14.3% alcohol; 52% merlot, 44% cabernet sauvignon and 4% cabernet franc; a blend of 31 components, according to Badenhorst. Deep ruby. Very ripe aromas of black raspberry, roast coffee and maple syrup; hints of crystallized fruits. Deep, dense and sweet, with a lush texture and the sweetening influence of 40% new oak. Evolving slowly. Finishes with big but sweet oak-influenced tannins and very good length."
