Tasting Notes:
rated: June 1, 2005 , Robert Parker
92 points "This poised, elegant Syrah reveals subtle but intense aromas of camphor, blackberries, cassis, and earthy forest floor. It builds incrementally, exhibiting good richness, power, purity, and integration of wood, acidity, alcohol, and tannin. An impressively endowed, authoritatively flavored, noble expression of Syrah with subtle nuances, it should be consumed over the next 5-7 years. I also admired the wording on the back label ... “protected from too much winemaking.” " Best 2005-2012
