"Excellent example of a chianti from this region. Deep ruby red, good acid/fruit balance. The tannins are softening and thus the wine is beginning to yield the subtleties of the toscana soil, "Le gout de terroir italien!" Yes, perfect with pasta or pizza, a green salad, and a friend or two."
