" Boudots is one of my consistent favorites in Nuits. St. Goerges. Located on the slope, immediately adjacent to Vosne Romanée Malconsort, it has the power and vibrancy of Nuits, but a Vosne Romanée richness and lushness. The 2001 Boudot is bigger and denser than the village Nuits St. Georges, with more structure. It also has much more power, and the vibrant black fruits that the vintage shows in Nuits St. Georges. Long, spicy finish. (Keith Wollenberg, K&L Wines)"This is rather more interesting. Medium-full body. Ripe, rich and oaky. Good grip. Very succulent. Very elegant too. Long and satisfying. Very good indeed." (Clive Coates, The Vine)"
