Bright medium ruby. Wild, Cornas-like aromas of blueberry, blackberry, violet and mint. Dense, juicy and oak-spicy; sweet but not at all over the top. Black fruit and pepper flavors are underpinned by solid spine. Good honest syrah, aged in once-used barrels. This should develop nicely in bottle."
