Tasting Notes:
rated: February 7, 2005 , K&L Wine Merchants
"Looking for a wonderful Chardonnay for everyday drinking, but don't want an oaky California Chardonnay? How about a nice white Burgundy from a famous producer, with poise, minerality and charm, for $15.99? It all comes from Puligny and was picked as a Key Buy by Allen Meadows who wrote: "(aged half in wood, half in steel with only 12% of the portion in wood being new all from Puligny vines). Clean and very bright with racy acidity underpinning delicious light to medium weight flavors that display a touch of minerality on the finish as well as a bit of warmth. This is really quite lovely for its level." (Burghound, 07/04)"
