Tasting Notes:
rated: February 7, 2005 , K&L Wine Merchants
" Located in the prestigious Apalta region in Chile's Colchagua Valley, this estate specializes in carmenère. If you have never sampled wines based solely on this 'lost grape' of Bordeaux, there is no better place to start! three levels of Carmenère-based wines are made here. Envero is 85% carmenère and 15% cabernet sauvignon. Its dark, rich fruit is complemented by eight months in French oak. All the fruit comes from vines more than 50 years old. Complex and insanely delicious."
