"On the nose, this wine has lots of cherry fruit backed by tar notes. On the palate, the initial impression is of rich, ripe strawberry, followed by darker berry fruits with a bit of spice and well-integrated oak. In Montalcino you would have this wine with Pinci, a handmade, thick style spaghetti with a meat sauce. I love it with rosemary-infused pork loin."
