"Color: deep; Aromas: spicy, woody; Sweetness: dry; Finish: very persistent; Ruby to blood red, almost maroon. It has a spicy and bell peppery aroma that didn’t burn the nose. I noticed that it wasn’t fruity. As for the taste, it was very peppery with a hit of chocolate and black cherry. It has a lot of tannins with a bitter to citrus after taste. This merlot had a very strong finish more in the line of a cab or zin. The body was very full with a silky finish. Very chewy and it would accommodate a steak perfectly. "
