"Tatarni cabernet has always tended to the tannic side and this release is too – though nowhere near as agressively so as the wines of yore. It tastes of eucalypt and blackberry, creamy oak and violets. Cigar-like notes too. It’s a punchy wine. And a persistent one. If you’re looking for a wine to cellar – this would be an excellent choice.
