"The 2002 Chardonnay B Block is out and out great stuff. There are 549 cases of this cuvee fashioned from an old Wente Chardonnay clone planted in 1987. Its wonderful buttery minerality brings to mind a premier cru Meursault-Charmes. This dense, rich, full-bodied, concentrated, full-throttle Chardonnay should be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years.
