88 points "Bright ruby-purple. Blackberry, blueberry and cranberry aromas complicated by notes of apple and fresh herbs. Juicy and fresh in the mouth, but could use a bit more fat and extract. The tart red berry flavors suggest moderate ripeness. But has style and should age well. Finishes with slightly drying tannins, good length and a smoky note."

95 points "Johnny Graham began Churchill in the early 1980s on a shoestring budget after spending some time as a blender and taster with Cockburn. After years of hard work, he has finally come through with a truly classic quality young Vintage Port in 2000. This Port shows intense aromas of black licorice and berries. It's full-bodied, with superfine tannins and a long, long finish. Supersexy. Best ever from Churchill. Best after 2012" Best 2015-2030
