"Color: deep; Nose: fragrant; Aromas: spicy, woody, tree fruit, red berry; Acidity: crisp; Sweetness: dry; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: bold; Decanted for about an hour. Deep garnet red in color, can barely see your fingers through the wine. On the nose; cherries and maybe some raspberries, also a hint of oak and. On the palate I noticed cherries, plums and maybe some currants. This is a medium bodied, dry wine with lots of acid and tannins that hit the back of your palate with very little heat. Pairs really well with Italian fare, in fact you don't notice the tannins in the wine while dinning, but they do come back when drinking without wine. This is an interesting blend of Sangiovese & Cabernet Sauvignon and at $10 is an excellent QPR."

"Good value wine: You know you're drinking a Tuscan red, but it's not as dry as many sangiovese-based reds."
