" 89-91+ points: This sleeper of the vintage is a large-scaled effort produced by a member of the Janoueix family (who also produce the outstanding Lalande-de-Pomerol, Chambrun). It is a powerful, dense, concentrated, muscular, opaque ruby/purple-colored wine with plenty of cassis fruit. Aromatically, it remains tight yet provocative, revealing earthy, leathery, black fruits. Give it 3/4 years of cellaring, and consume it over the following 10-12 years."
