92 points "The 2005 Brunello di Montalcino is an impeccable, racy wine endowed with gorgeous, delineated fruit and expressive aromatics, all of which come together with considerable grace. Fragrant dark cherries, violets and menthol add further shades of complexity. The 2005 is a relatively soft, smaller-scaled version of this wine but it is nevertheless quite beautiful. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2023" Best 2010-2023

90 points "Antonio Galloni Wine Advocate 91 Points The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino is surprisingly dark and heavy in this vintage. Black fruit, leather, licorice and spices are some of the nuances that emerge from the glass. As delicious as this is, the typical Lisini pedigree and elegance doesn’t come through to the extent it usually does. Ultimately the 2006 Brunello is a rather ponderous wine from this historic property. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. Wine Spectator 90 Points Tasting of sweet cherry and berry fruit, this rich Brunello maintains a sense of grace. There's a supple texture up front, with grainy tannins ushering in the finish. Best from 2012 through 2023. 2,500 cases imported.–BS International Wine Cellar 92 Points Good deep red. Aromas of crushed cherry, minerals and pungent smoke. Intense red berry and spice flavors are framed by strong but integrated acidity. Not at all overly sweet but broad, rich and concentrated. Classy, floral sangiovese with superb energy and lift, and the structure to support a slow and graceful evolution in bottle. James Suckling 93 Points What a dreamy nose of crushed berries and dried flowers. Perfumes too. Then changes to Indian spices and dark fruits. Full bodied, with super well integrated tannins and a classy, long finish. So well integrated. Just a joy to taste. Better in 2013. " Best 2013-2023

93 points "The terrific aromas of strawberry, cherry and currant are accented by underbrush, spice and tobacco elements on the palate in this elegant and intense red, which builds to a persistent finish. Fruit and mineral accents echo on the aftertaste. Best from 2015 through 2030. Wine Advocate -- 92pts Lisini’s 2008 Brunello di Montalcino is one of the few wines of the vintage that is going to require patience. A big, broad-shouldered wine, the 2008 fills out nicely over time with attractive black fruit, smoke, tar, game and savory herb notes. Although quite virile and imposing today, the 2008 also shows striking inner perfume and a level of sweetness that is likely to require some time to emerge, suggesting the wine has plenty of potential for improvement ahead. The 2008 spent 42 months in French oak, exceedingly long by today’s standards. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2028 James Suckling -- 91pts A pretty purity of fruit for the vintage with lovely perfumes. Full to medium body, with fine tannins and a clean fresh finish. Drink now. February 25th, 2013" Best 2015-2028
