"It reminds me a fair bit of the 1999 this one. It's a medium-bodied, well balanced red with more length than breadth, its flavours of blackcurrant, briar, cedarwood and dust speaking clearly of both cabernet and Coonawarra. It needs time in the bottle to show its best - it's a long but slightly angular wine right now, but having looked at it over a 24 hour period I have no real doubts that the quality is there, and that it will age well.
