"The 1998 Platinum Shiraz won the Chris Hancock Trophy for Best Shiraz in the World in 2002 at the International Wine & Spirit Challenge, held in London.
Deep red in colour with a solid core. Lifted, fragrant aromas of spice and plums sit with blue and black berries, cocoa and spicy / toasty French oak. The seamless, concentrated palate is layered with blackberry, spice and integrated oak characters. The smooth, elegant palate has fine long tannins, excellent structure and impressive length."
