91 points "Extremely aromatic, with beautiful aromas of cherry, plum and Spanish cedar. Full-bodied, with firm tannins and a silky finish. Needs time to develop style. Nicely structured. I like this as much as the 2001. Best after 2010. 12,080 cases made." Best 2010-2018
rated: July 31, 2008 , Stephen Tanzer (IWC)
91 points "Deep red with ruby tones. Reticent aromas of bitter cherry and sexy oak lifted by a floral topnote. Juicy, penetrating and tightly wound, with lovely cut to its flavors of dark cherry and licorice. A firmly structured, youthfully bound-up Brunello that nonetheless finishes with attractive subtle sweetness. In a very suave style."

91 points ""Nardi's 2003 Brunello di Montalcino is an elegant, finessed wine with remarkable clarity and precision in its ripe fruit. It offers notable persistence on the palate and a long, lingering finish. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2018." Best 2008-2018
