"The Forots consists of 100% Syrah from 60 year old vines. Grapes are picked manually; the bunches are de-stemmed and lightly crushed before being fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for nine months, 25% in one or two-year-old oak barrels prior to bottling. Wonderful aromas of violets, spice and licorice lead to a palate loaded with ripe berry fruit. The mouth-feel is soft and elegant in spite of the rich fruit flavors. This is a great choice with Moroccan lamb with Couscous. Drink now and over the next 3 -5 years. "
