"The 2006 Muffato della Sala is especially successful in this vintage. Ripe succulent pears, jasmine, honeysuckle and spices make an appearance as this pretty, mid-weight sweet wine opens up in the glass. Muffato della Sala is made from air-dried Sauvignon, Grechetto, Traminer and Riesling. The wine is best enjoyed with fruit based desserts or fresh cheeses and is an excellent choice for readers looking for a sweet wine that tends towards the lighter side of weight and richness.
