97 points "Costanti's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is stunning. Dark, powerful and mysterious in the glass, the 2010 captivates all the senses with its breathtaking beauty and layered, multi-dimensional personality. Lavender, violets, savory herbs, smoke, plums and graphite flow through to the rich, explosive finish. There is a prism-like sense of transparency allied to pure power in the 2010 that is impossible miss. Readers who can find the 2010 should not hesitate; it is a must-have. While many 2010s are approachable today, the Costanti's 2010 is not; it is a wine for the cellar. Drink 2018-2035." Feb 2015" Best 2018-2035

95 points " "The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino is a model of grace and elegance. This isn’t a huge, powerful wine like the 2006, but rather a Brunello that impresses for its total finesse. Sweet floral notes lead to hints of tobacco, wild herbs and spices on the refined finish. Layers of fruit flesh out beautifully in a radiant, expressive wine that captures the essence of the vintage. Costanti gave the 2007 Brunello 36 months in oak, 18 months in medium-sized barrels followed by 18 months in cask. This is a fabulous showing from Andrea Costanti." 95 Points The Wine Advocate "

96 points "Good deep, full red. Knockout nose offers black fruits, licorice, curry powder and rose oil, plus a hint of leather; Musigny meets Barbaresco. Silky and sweet, but with terrific grip and class. Conveys an impression of density and thickness without weight. Wonderfully tactile wine with a savory, mineral-driven finish and outstanding saline persistence. Built to age, and yet this wine is impeccably balanced from day one."
