96 points "The 2007 Vecina exhibits that scorched earth, volcanic character of burning embers and barbecue smoke, with black and blue fruits as well as graphite. Tremendous richness, full-bodied power and density, and an amazing finish make for a wine that borders on perfection as well. Give it 2-4 years of bottle age, and drink it over the following 25+ years. (96-99)." Best 2014-2035

94 points "Intense and racy wild berry and blackberry fruit is flashy, tight, pure, focused and beautifully defined, picking up a nice dusty berry edge, with hints of black licorice, and offering wonderful depth, richness and persistence. To be released spring 2009. Best from 2010 through 2018. 700 cases made. –JL" Best 2010-2018
